We understand that unexpected situations arise—whether it’s a change in plans or something completely out of your control. This is why purchasing travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. Travel insurance helps protect your investment, covering unforeseen circumstances like trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or travel delays.

We strongly recommend choosing a policy that includes "Cancel for Any Reason" coverage to give you the most flexibility.

    Unused Portions:

No refunds for unused portions of the retreat.

    Non-Refundable Expenses

In the event of a cancellation, whether by the participant or due to force majeure, HerDecree Journeys is not responsible for any additional costs incurred, including but not limited to:

    • Airfare – We do not cover flights, airline fees, or changes to your travel itinerary.

    • Travel Insurance – Any costs associated with purchasing travel insurance are the responsibility of the participant.

    • Visa & Entry Fees – Any costs related to securing a visa, passport renewals, or other travel documents.

    • Personal Expenses – This includes, but is not limited to, meals outside of what is provided, shopping, additional excursions, and activities not included in the retreat package.

    • Hotel Stays Before/After the Journey – If you choose to extend your trip or need accommodation outside of the scheduled journey dates, those costs will not be reimbursed.

    • Transportation Costs – This includes airport transfers outside of what is provided in the itinerary, taxis, rideshares, and other transport expenses.

Force Majeure & Cancellations by HerDecree Journeys

If HerDecree Journeys must cancel a journey due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or insufficient bookings, a full refund (including deposits) will be provided. However, we are not responsible for any non-refundable expenses you may have already incurred, such as flights or other travel-related costs.

To ensure full protection, we strongly recommend selecting a travel insurance policy that includes "Cancel for Any Reason" coverage, giving you the flexibility to recover eligible costs.

By booking this journey, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
